Spirent SmartBits LAN-3306A 4-pt 10/100 TeraMetrics XD Module offers “Dual Media” Ethernet connections on every test port.
The user can select a 10/100/1000 Mbps connection or a Gigabit Ethernet Fiber connection on each port.
The SmartBits test system can scale from two ports up to 768 ports, providing the highest density test platform in the industry.
Each XD module is capable of simulating the millions of clients and servers required to fully test network systems.
Spirent SmartBits LAN-3306A 4-pt 10/100 TeraMetrics XD Module can be used to test high-speed internet working between Ethernet interfaces, as well as other technologies in the SmartBits system, such as ATM or Packet over SONET interfaces. Each XD module can generate realistic traffic at different layers and measure specific metrics for each layer.
The TeraMetrics XD modules can simultaneously correlate data plane tests with control plane traffic such as routing, to provide the most realistic performance measurements.
SmartMetrics XDmodules support testing at Layers 2 and 3.
